Quarantine barn:
Ameripaca's quarantine barn
was once a certified U.S. importation facility for importing
alpacas from South America. Imported animals had to be kept
separated for a period of time to ensure that they were not
bringing contagious alpaca diseases into the United States.
Now that the importation of
alpacas from South America has been closed, this large barn
houses as many as 50 alpacas, most of which are now confirmed
pregnant females.
