"Alfalfa" barn:

The large field on the right of our driveway when you enter the Ameripaca farm was, for many years, an alfalfa crop field. We still like to refer to the barn there as the "alfalfa barn," but it is now a pasture that is home to our many premium herdsires.

Dominant males like our huacaya pinto, Anthony, love to spend time defending the top of the hill nearest the office barn, while ogling the many girls on the other side of the driveway. But rest assured, when we enter the field with halters, everyone comes running. They all know it's time to "go to work!"
