National Alpaca Farm Day
Join us in the celebration Sept. 27 and 28, 2008
Maryland celebrates Sept. 27, 2008 as "National Alpaca Farm Day" to coincide with a joint celebration of the alpaca livestock industry and lifestyle throughout the United States and Canada. Ameripaca joins in the celebration by inviting the public to visit our alpaca farm in Galesville, Maryland on Saturday September 27 and Sunday September 28 for fleece spinning and processing demonstrations, alpaca products for sale (just in time for early Christmas shoppers), alpaca sales, farm tours and more. All activities will be free, and you'll have the perfect opportunity to see and learn more about alpacas!
Ameripaca is one of the largest alpaca farms in the United States and is home to over 350 suri and huacaya alpacas. We have been breeding alpacas for over 15 years and have birthed over 1,400 crias (alpaca babies) right here on our farm. We are known throughout the alpaca industry for the quality of our alpacas and the integrity of our service. Since we are a thriving alpaca farm, regular visiting hours are by appointment only. But on Sept. 27 and 28, our farm will be open to the public from 10am to 2pm (call 410-867-4204 for details). Click here for directions.
