We purchased Satina from Lona Frank for the express purpose of breeding her to Chasqui. Suzette is the outcome of this breeding, and we were not disappointed. We just can’t say enough positive things about her! Suzette has a very soft hand to her fleece with excellent density and coverage. Her fiber is locked to the skin and retains excellent fineness. We think she has a perfect suri head complemented by a full beard.
Suzette comes from a long line of show suris. Her sire, Chasqui, won 1st Place at both shows he attended in 1997. These shows included the 1997 AOBA National Conference and 1997 Fiber Fest. He won Get of Sire in 2001 at the Big E. Chasqui has produced numerous champions including the 2007 White Suri Yearling AOBA Champion!
Suzette’s dam won ribbons at three NW shows including a Grand Championship at the Heart of the Valley Show. Her grandsire is Zeus, an Inca son. Zeus is an undefeated Champion himself and also sire to many Champions.
Suzette is ready to breed now. We left Suzette open so that her new owner could make the breeding decision. We recommend Snowmass Cadance, but the choice is yours. You’ll have over 30 suri herdsires to choose from. We will be happy to transport her back to Ameripaca after the auction for her free breeding.
