Ameripaca's Silverbelle

We knew Silverbelle was going to be special from the day she was born. Silverbelle was named after a Christmas carol since she was born in mid December. Her color surprised us (beige) since both parents are brown. She does have a dark fawn spot on her tail, an indicator that she should produce color. We were thrilled with her fleece: lustrous and greasy and twisted in tiny locks.
Silverbelle’s sire is Crossfire, our brown multiple blue winning herdsire. Her dam, Sequoia, was hand picked by us in Peru and is a farm favorite because of her endearing personality. She has been an excellent producer for Ameripaca. Sequoia’s offspring, Spellcaster (owned by McMatley Alpacas), won 1st Place Suri Shorn Mature Males at the 2002 AOBA National Show. Her offspring, Senor, won 1st Place Suri Breeder’s Best for Ameripaca at both the 2002 MAPACA Jubilee and the 2002 AOBA National Show.
Silverbelle should shine in anyone’s show string. She’s inherited her sire’s upright conformation. She has a typey suri head with full topknot and beard. As mentioned before, she has a greasy fleece with excellent luster. Her fleece is very fine – 19.5 microns.
Silverbelle will be ready to breed in Spring of 2008. We’d be happy to bring her home after the MAPACA Jubilee for her free breeding.
