Lot #42
Zany Brainey

Huacaya Female
DOB: 11/4/2005
ARI#: 30004187
Color: Black

Sire: PC Peruvian Knight Rider
Dam: Snowbelt Zoe

Zany Brainy is proof that there’s truth to the old adage, “Good things come in small packages.” This petite female is sure to win your heart.

Zany Brainy is a black weanling with black on both sides of her pedigree. Her sire, Knight Rider, has an impressive show career spanning over three years. He won 2nd Place at the 2002 Eastern Alpaca Jubilee (MAPACA) and the 2002 PAOBA Breeders Showcase. In 2003, he won 1st Place at both the New York Empire Extravaganza and the South East Pennsylvania Alpaca Show. In 2004, Knight Rider was the blue ribbon winner and Reserve Color Champion at the Virginia Classic. Zany Brainy’s grandfather on her dam’s side is Curly Clay who won 1st Place at the 2002 AOBA National Conference.

We expect Zany Brainy to follow in the footsteps of her father and grandfather. With her extremely soft fleece and typey huacaya phenotype, she is sure to please the judges. Too young to be shown in 2006, Zany will be ready for 2007 Spring shows before going to work in your breeding program.

Zany Brainy has been a picture of health since she hit the ground at 15 pounds. She had an IgG of 1,886 and doubled her weight by thirty days. Zany Brainy’s weaning weight was 74 pounds, 50% of her dam’s weight, which is exactly what we like to see.
