Check
in was on Friday for Attendees who brought
alpacas to compete in the Customer Appreciation
Futurity. Some farms also brought their farm
displays for presentation to the many visitors
who attend the Breeder's Choice looking for
information on the alpaca industry.

Total attendance at the auction was over 1,000

Plenty
of time was allowed on Friday and Saturday for
buyers to do their own hands-on inspection of
the alpacas they wished to bid on.

The
Ameripaca staff was present to help field questions
about each of the 22 alpacas we offered in this
year's auction.

Just
before the auction, the previewing pens were
all a buzz! Bidder's took one last look at the
alpaca they were shortly to bid on.

At
auction time, the barn was packed!
Over 1,000 people were in attendance, with an
additional 70 who watched the entire auction
via a live web presentation!

and Magical Farms offered 84 of their premium

The

$68,000 in prize money was awarded to the winners.

Many
of the Futurity winners and champions were purchased
the night before at the Breeder's Choice Auction--another
