Lot #7
Ameripacas Opportunity
Suri Female
ARI#1164206
Born: 4/10/2000
Color:
SIRE: CPeruvian
Dakota
DAM: Opalessence of PVA
What an Opportunity! This outstanding female
has all the characteristics of good suri phenotype: beautiful
wedge shaped head, upright conformation, fleece thats
cool to the touch, and dense, tight locks with high luster.
Her dam, Opalessence
of PVA, is one of those wonderful girls that stand out
in the show ring as well as in the production barn. She won
2nd in a large class at the 2001 International Alpaca Odyssey
and also won 2nd at the All American Futurity that year. When
she retired from the show ring, she became an integral part
of Ameripacas foundation herd. She is an excellent milker,
with a quiet temperament which she passes on to her offspring.
Opportunitys sire, Dakota,
is bay black. Having color on one side of her pedigree greatly
increases the chances that Opportunity will produce colored
cria if bred to color.
Opportunity is sold bred to Acero
Markas Nick, sire of AOBA champion "Etoile".
Nick was awarded the CNASF Suri Supreme Champion Sire in 2005.
He is known for passing to his offspring his "signature head"
(see photo insert),
excellent leg wool coverage, substantial bone, uniform pencil
locks, and extreme luster. Nick offspring sell at a premium;
since he resides in Canada, Nick is not accessible for outside
breedings.
Opportunity is due in March, 2006. Dont
miss this Opportunity!
