Lot #2
Ameripacas Lovelace
FULL PERUVIAN Suri Female
ARI#1430271
Born: November 1, 2004
Color: Bay Black (BB)
SIRE: Carlo
Barberra of PVA
DAM: WWF Lovey
We are proud, and possibly crazy, to offer
this outstanding black female as our first lot! Lovelace is
Full Peruvian with a strong pedigree, having both PVA Mahogany
Prince and Pperuvian Angel in her lineage.
Both of Lovelaces parents were successful
in the show ring. Her sire, Carlo
Barberra of PVA, won second Place at three major shows:
The 2001 All American Futurity, the 2001 International Alpaca
Odyssey, and the 2000 CABA Show. He is a light brown herdsire
sired by PVA Mahogany Prince (purchased by Randy Welman for
a record selling $325,000). Lovey, Lovelaces dam, is
a deep maroon color and won 1st Place female dark suri at
the 2001 Kentucky Classic.
Lovelace has very uniform, lustrous, small
pencil locks. Her true black fleece is stunning--shes
been an "eye catcher" since she was a very young cria. Lovelace
will be a perfect age to represent your farm in Fall 2005
and Spring 2006 shows before traveling to Ameripaca for her
free breeding.
Lovelace has had good weight gains since
birth. She follows our rule of thumb, to double her weight
in thirty days and be at least half her dams weight
by weaning.
Lovelaces Weight Record:
Birth weight 17 lbs.
1 month weight 33.5 lbs.
6 month weight 84 lbs.
DAMS average weight 153 lbs.
Lovelace will be ready to breed in April
2006. Our choice would be Zeplin,
our award winning black herdsire, but you can choose from
any of our 30
suri herdsires.
