Ameripaca's Radar
Suri Male
ARI# 1007541
Born: 11/10/2003
Color: Rose Grey
SIRE: Gunsmoke
DAM: HCL Bolivian Romance
Radar is one of the most spectacular grey
suris we have seen. He is a beautiful shade of rose grey
not just on tips as is commonly seen in young grey suris,
but a solid and uniform color deep to the skin. There are
very few ARI registered rose grey suri males in the United
States, and Radar is truly the rarest of the rare! His tiny
locks, good luster and excellent coverage, coupled with an
upright conformation, make him an exceptional junior herdsire.
Radar is the son of two grey parents. His
dam, Romance, is silver
grey and won 2nd Place fleece at 2004 MAPACA Jubilee and the
2000 AOBA National Show--2 of the largest shows in the country!
Romance is also dam to Remington,
a black suri who was Awarded Grand Champion and won two 1st
Place ribbons at the 2004 Western Ohio Triple Crown.
Radar's sire is Gunsmoke,
a charcoal grey male known for producing grey and appaloosa
patterned crias. His 50 offspring are 100% suri and 94% colored.
Numerous Gunsmoke offspring are blue ribbon winners and champions.
Gunsmoke babies stand out in a crowd!
Since Radar was born in November 2003, he
wasn't old enough for the Spring 2004 show season, but will
be a perfect age for Fall 2004 and Spring 2005 shows. His
new owner can enjoy showing him in 2005 before putting him
to work in their breeding program.
