When looking for
production females in South America, we often sought out and
chose the white ones with what we called the "$5,000
spot." This catch phrase was coined by Steve Campbell
to indicate females likely to produce color when bred to colored
males. Lilybell has such a spot!
Lilybell has high-powered
genetics on both sides of her pedigree. Her dam, Lilah,
is an Accoyo Sedosa daughter who won 3 championships and 5
blue ribbons before retiring from the show ring to raise crias.
Her sire, Condor,
owned by Brad and Jandy Sprouse of Great Lakes Ranch, is the
sire of multiple champions and unusual color patterned offspring.
Lilybell has beautiful
pencil locks, and brilliant luster. She will be ready to breed
in early Winter 2004. If you desire, we will transport her
back to Ameripaca after the auction for her complimentary
breeding. You can choose from over
40 unrelated herdsires we recommend a colored male
to take advantage of her "$5,000 spot." Over 25
colored suri herdsires reside at Ameripaca, so your choices
are by no means limited!
