If you want a very special and "different" kind of grey suri, Charly's Angel is your girl! Charly's Angel is a very rare, grey appaloosa with lots of "grey" in her robust suri genes and pedigree. She is sired by Gunsmoke, one of the most awesome and unusual grey suri herdsires in this country. He is definitely one of the Ameripaca staff's favorites. His fleece has incredible lustre and perfectly-penciled, fine, consistent locks right to the skin. His awesome fleece characteristics are clearly seen even in a very short staple length! He is a bay black color with smokey, grey locks intermingled throughout his fleece. Gunsmoke exhibits a strong suri phenotype with a very upright carriage and perfect conformation. One of Gunsmoke's most important attributes is his ability to throw grey offspring which are very "typey."

We believe that Charly's Angel will be very much like her sire in being able to produce grey and unusual color patterns. Charlys Angel's sister, Piccadilly, was the high seller at the Great Lakes Auction and is also a grey suri with strong suri characteristics; Piccadilly's first cria was a grey female. Not only are these suri genes grey, but they are also winning in the show ring. Charly's Angel's paternal brother, Pistol (owned by Wildlife Ranch Suri Alpacas), won 1st Place & Reserve Champion at the 2002 All American Futurity. Charly's Angel comes with a free breeding to the Ameripaca herdsire of your choice in Fall 2003, a list including 2 greys and 6 blacks.
