NEXT 5 LOTS

It may appear that Ameripaca is predominantly a suri farm since most of the Ameripaca animals in this auction are suris. Actually, Ameripaca has an approximate 50/50 mix of huacayas to suris. We love our huacayas, too. Magical Farms has predominantly huacayas, and since we wanted the auction to be a 50:50 suri/huacaya mix, it made sense for Ameripaca to offer mostly suris.

Ameripaca Alpacas to be Auctioned:

LOT 2

Alterra

Suri Female
ARI# 817790
Born: 9/8/2000

SIRE: NT7791 Babe Ruth
DAM: PPeruvian Hermosa

This beautiful, white yearling will take your breath away! Alterra is one of those suris that stands out, even in a large herd. Simply put, she has STYLE! She has a perfect bite, tight pencil locks, and a typey suri head. Her price includes a free breeding to any of Ameripaca's suri herdsires. With a beige sire, her chances of throwing color if bred to color are good.

She should be in perfect condition for the Eastern Alpaca Jubilee Show next spring. We would be happy to transport her from that show to our farm for a free breeding to one of 35 Ameripaca suri herdsires of your choice. Had we kept Alterra, we would have bred her to Dreamweaver, our black Peruvian herdsire who won first place at the 2000 Jubilee, or 1/2 Accoyo Peruvian Cortez, sire to many blue-ribbon offspring.

HOT NEWS! Alterra won 1st Place Yearling white female at the September 2001 Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts!

Harry Brown is also sire to Garnet, who won 2nd Place medium brown juvenile female at the 2001 Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

Elizabeth's dam, Esperanza, is a full Peruvian, white suri with one fawn spot. She has been an excellent producer for Ameripaca. Elizabeth will be ready to breed in March 2002, and her price includes a free breeding to one of Ameripaca's herdsires. Futurity Pre-Registered.

ARI# 819345
Born: 5/14/2000

SIRE: Acero Marka's Chasqui
DAM: 5Peruvian Mahogany Rose

Marmie is one of the most upright suris on the Ameripaca farm. Marmie constantly ³poses² in the field or wherever she is, showing the best suri phenotype. She never takes a bad photograph since she always looks so darn good! In fact, AOBA judges feel the same way, not only about Marmie, but of her sire as well. Marmie won Grand Champion and First Place in her Halter Class at the 2001 Eastern Alpaca Jubilee.

Her sire, Chasqui, won First Place ³White Yearling Male² at the AOBA Conference in 1997 and First Place at the 1997 Fiber Fest. Her dam, who we affectionately call ³Maggie,² is a magnificent full Peruvian black suri, also with a strong suri phenotype. Marmie had an excellent IgG of 2614! She is a Pop Tart granddaughter and is pre-registered for Sunday's Futurity. After the show, we'll gladly take her home to breed (free of charge) to the Ameripaca herdsire of your choice.
